 I have been sewing for over 40 years.  To me, making ironing board covers is both fun and a challenge.  
   Four years ago a friend of mine asked me to make her 4 ironing board covers for Christmas Presents.  At this time I had never made one before.  So I trecked on down to the local fabric store and picked up a pattern.  I made a few and sold them at Bazaars.  My daughter suggested that I sell them on ebay.  
   At first I only made the standard size.  Then one day a lady emailed me and wanted to know if I could make a cover for her 88 year old mom.  Her father had cut a piece of plywood 18x56" long and that was her ironing board.  It was quite a challenge to figure out a pattern and when the lady gave the cover to her mother, she was thrilled.  From then on I offered to make custom covers.
   I now make covers in 4 sizes that you can find here in my store, as well as many different custom sizes.  I have sold covers to customers in countries such as Australia, Canada, Belgium, France, and the United Kingdom.  Oh and of course here in the United States.  
   It's so satisfying to hear from people who have bought my covers and enjoy having some thing that is different than what you can buy in an everyday store.  I hope to be in business for many years to come.
